Provo Trip

We made a trip to Provo for the UNLV vs. Byu game.  Jason, Kenton, Amanda and myself traveled up Friday night and stayed with Bri and Sky so we could get some rest.  We woke up early Saturday morning for the rest of the trek.  Unfortunately our Rebels lost but that didn't stop us from having fun!  We got together with two of my besties and their husbands.  We ate at TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!  The food was so yummy and we got our GRUB on.  Amanda and I ordered two different steaks and split them!  Tasty tasty!  Jason was giving Kenton some lime and the kid actually liked it.  He is going to like just about anything I think.  Later that night we went swimming at our hotels indoor heated pool.  So much for heated I was in about 5 minutes before I got cold and Julie and I got in the hot tub!  Amanda got together with her friend Kaylee that is going to Byu for school and they decided to join us in the hot tub too!  This was Kenton's first swimming experience and the kid is a natural!  He was kicking and splashing.  He looked like a little frog in the water with his legs going.  I am looking forward to the summer time so I can take him to the pool often!  The kid is just an all around fun kid who is so easy going!  We even gave him a bath in the sink because everyone was changing in the bathroom and he was tired and needed to go to bed.  He fit so perfectly:)  We stayed up all night just chatting it up!  We finally decided we should go to bed so we could be well rested to drive home tomorrow.  We said bye to all our friends and hit the sacks!
In the morning I grabbed us some breakfast then I went to see Ann.  She didn't bring Cora the night before so I had to go see her!  She was so cute and loved Kenton but she didn't enjoy her parents attention being taken away.  What a good and fun and fast trip.  Amanda, Kenton and I left Jason to it and we all fell asleep.  We made good time and was able to make it all the way to Cedar before Kenton woke up and wanted food.  He is such a good eater.  He loves him some food!  When we finally made it home we found a Byu shrine on our doorstep.  Our bishops family left it, they like Byu.  Jason is all pumped for revenge!  Thanks to grandma and grandpa for watching their grand puppy...even if she was a hellion!  Loves!   Well that's a wrap folks!

    UNLV REBELS

Jason got UNLV vs byu tickets for his birthday because he really wanted to go. We had a blast cheering for the team and I had a blast watching Jason yell at the reffs! Kenton loves going to the games and is such a good boy. He watched the fireworks excitedly and the game with as much enthusiasm! Towards the end of the game we could tell he was starting to get tired so all we did was craddle him in our arms and he was out within a minute. The lady sitting next to us told us how lucky we were and what a good baby we had. I love that little guy so much! If he is anything like his daddy he will still enjoy coming to the games when he is older! We lost tonight but we are going up to Provo to watch them again when they play up there. We are ready to kick some cougar butt!

New Years Up in Utah

sleeping arrangements...Breyden shared his bedroom

you would think they were scared of the camera

they have it figured out now

Cousin Love

I know I am late but our Internet was down for a little while.  So now I am playing catch up.  For New Years we went up to Utah to play.  Jason and I left Friday around 4 so we were up there in time to ring in the new year.  We bought a bunch of snacks to take with us.  We got up there and the partay began.  It was me, Jason, Kenton, Aaron, Skyler and Brianna.  We had so much fun just talking and laughing.  We played Rock Band together and got so caught up with that, that we were two minutes from it being 12.  So we got out our poppers and rang it in real quick.  Then we had to stay up another hour to ring in the New Year for Las Vegas!  Then we kept playing and playing.  Bri finally gave in and went to bed and I was right behind her.  There was no telling when Kenton would wake up because the routine was off.  The boys stayed up all night long playing and singing.  Jason came in around 9 his voice hoarse.  I laughed at him as he went to sleep for an hour or so.  Kenton was ready to eat and get ready for the day and Bri and I were going.....SHOPPING!  So the boys got up and Aaron was a zombie.  He is really funny when he is tired.  He slurs his words like a drunk. ha ha  We went to lunch at Red Robin Yummmm.  Then we went shopping and drug those boys with us.  It was fun to watch them run around Taipan looking for different things like a scavenger hunt.

After that was all said and done we went to visit Trevor and Selena and their cute boys.  Selena just had Mason and Jason and I hadn't met him yet.  His blessing was that weekend as well.  Mason was so stinking cute and tiny and it was fun seeing Jaxon and Ryan too!  I never got to experience a baby as tiny as Mason because Kenton was a monster:) We had an amazing weekend and were really glad to see all the family!

Um Kenton is about as big as you there Ryan

Wow Kenton is a beast next to Mason (couldnt figure out how to turn this)
Jason showed Ryan how to take a picture of himself

Kentons 1st Christmas was so much fun!  Holidays are much more enjoyable with a kid!  I can't wait for next year when Kenton will actually pay attention to opening gifts!  We started our morning out with Chistmas at our house opening gifts with eachother.  We dressed Kenton up as Santa!  I must say that he was the most adorable Santa I have ever seen:) Aida was the reindeer.  You can tell by the look on our face that she is just humoring us!  We then got ready to go see Grandma and Grandpa Brummett!  We ate a brunch at their house while we waited for the rest of the family to show up so we could open presents!  It was cute everybody had a table setting with their name where they would sit and Kenton and his cousin Chandler had blankets laid out on the floor with their little name tags!  Kenton was very excited to have his spot claimed!  We had an enjoyable time at the Brummetts laughing and making memories!  Grandpa B choreographed the cutest "gifts" for Grandma B with their song and had us all sniffling!  We had an amazing dinner thanks to Grandma!  We left the Brummetts after dinner and headed to the Waites...Weird I am not a Waite anymore.  They all had already opened presents because Bri and Sky went over in the early afternoon.  So Jason, Kenton and I opened our presents from Grandma and Grandpa Waite.  We had a surprise visit from the Beattys.  It was nice to visit with them.  We then did our secret santas.  It was a very fun and creative gift exchange!  My brother was my secret santa and he gave me granny panties with a gift card in them.  Pay back for a previous birthday gift we had gotten him!:)  I must say my favorite gift from my parents was a head hair towel thingy!  Mom says its called a terbie twist.  Ha ha all the sisters got one and we looked awesome!  I wanted to wear it out my next date night:) So Christmas was a hit and we had a great time!  Thanks family for an amazing Christmas!

Hair cuts

So my mom and Kaylee came over to get their hair done Friday night.  We had a blast!  Mom was just doing her roots because she is getting gray in her old age and Kaylee was going for a complete change:)  She wanted it way shorter with a few highlights in it.  It was fun to do and she looked super cute and sassy afterwards.  As if she needed anymore help with that.  Jason made us some chili dogs for dinner which was yummy!  Kenton loved seeing his grandma and Aunt Kaylee.  He gave grandma an early Christmas present.  It was a tree ornament with his hand and foot print in it.  Grandma loved it!  It is a tradition with my mom and Christmas ornaments so Kenton is keeping it going.

Got Ya!!

Last night Kenton had a blow out!  This is his first blow out that actually got someone else!  He has only had tiny leaks to where it gets his onsie!  Go figure that he decides to make me of all people his 1st victom!  Hello doesn't this kid know it is I who feeds him and clothes him!  Gosh.  I was nursing him and all he had on was his diaper because Jason undressed him so he could get him in his pjs.  While Jason was going to get them I decided to nurse him.  After he was done I was still just holding him while he talked to me.  Of course he let a few rip and I gave him a hard time about another dirty diaper for mommy to change.  So when I went to go change him I found my lovely surprise.  It got on my hands and my pants!  Jason sure thought it was funny and Kenton was all smiles. Got Ya mommy!  What a lovely gift! lol  Have to love all these memories were making!

Kenton Boy is getting so big.  I weighed him with me on the wii and it said he was 14.2.  He is starting to stand up and put weight on his legs for longer periods of time!  It is exciting and at the same time sad.  Each new thing he does I am so happy and am quick to take pictures so I can document it but then I think to myself self...Oh my little boy is not going to be so little anymore:(  This kid is going to be walking before you know it!  He loves having his play time on the floor.  He will talk and laugh for so long.  Of course he has his best buddy Aida keeping him company!  I just started laying him on the floor and it never fails that
Aida will be at his side the second I lay him down!  She loves her baby and Kenton loves his puppy!  They are going to be fun to watch as Kenton gets older!
