We carved pumpkins too!  It was fun!!  Here are some pictures from those!

Halloween Time!

We had a pretty low key Halloween this year.  We dressed Kenton up and took him to the grandparents...We went over to my families house first and he trick or treated to Grandma Waite...

Then we went over to Grandpa and Grandmas Brummetts Trunk or Treat party.  I took Kenton around to the trunks with his pumpkin bucket.  I felt stupid but I was taking him around regardless.  I am sure everyone was thinking oh ya sure this candy if for him but oh well.  At first he didn't want to hold his bucket but once he figured out that people were putting candy in he wasn't letting that thing go.

We had a good time!  I threw on a wig that Jason had brought... We didn't take many pictures at the trunk or treat sadly.  I always regret not pulling out my camera more!

Pumpkin Patch

So I am finally getting around to posting pictures from our pumpkin patch visit.  It was fun this year since Kenton is walking all over the place.  He has a mind of his own and wants to do his own thing.  He is only 1 and is already very independent!

Anyone who has a 1 year old knows how hard it is to take pictures of them.  We got a few good poses.  He is so busy so it was hard to get him to sit still long enough to catch him smiling.

He was very intent on picking up this pumpkin...

But he gave up and went for one more his size...It was still heavy so he only would hold it for a little bit....

Then he found one that was just his size!  He was a happy camper!

We went and visited the animals and he kept jabbering to them.  He wanted to go in with them so bad...

So we took him and and let him run around.  Right when he got in he went straight for their water.  Go figure!  After I made him pet them then he was all about following them everywhere!

We had so much fun with our little guy at the pumpkin patch.  He loved it and we loved watching him!

Afterwards he was a tired little guy and fell asleep so fast!















More Fun!

So Jason and Skyler planned their own trip because they wanted to golf and go shooting...which is fine by me because then I get to play with my sister and Breyden!  Bri and I thought it was cute that they planned everything by themselves.  Just goes to show that it would be great if they lived in Vegas!  Jason has a going debate with them why Vegas is so much better than Utah.  It is kind of funny.  We did lots of things and had lots of fun together!  Kenton and Breyden are always so fun to watch and they are like two peas in a pod, partners in crime.  Look and see what I mean...

Kenton:  Ahhh ya we hit the jackpot...Look Breyden!!  Cheerios for everyone!

Breyden:  Hurry Kenton stuff as many in your mouth before we get caught!

Kenton:  I'm a stuffing...come on Breyden you can do more than that!

Both:  Oh no they are coming....

Kenton: Quick lets see what else is in this thing!!!

We went shooting out in the desert.  A friend of Skyler's came too!  Jason was so excited to shoot his new gun.

We all took turns shooting...Bri and I were afraid to shoot the shotgun because they have so much kick but surprisingly this one was not as bad as I thought!  My favorite was reloading...Makes you feel so powerful!  The boys had fun turning it into a competition to see who could get their targets.

We also got to hang out with Trevor and Selena and their boys.  We totally crashed their plans and hung out with them all day.  Got to eat some divine sandwiches from some place they love.  Kenton and Breyden fell asleep on the car ride back and took the longest of naps in the twins bed.

 and then we planned a spur of the moment BBQ for later that evening which was actually quite yummy for not planning.

Better Late Than Never

So my mom has been bugging me to blog and I just haven't been in the mood and didn't think I had anything to blog about.  But I was looking through my camera and realized the pictures on there were not on my computer yet and so I do have some fun pics to share!

On the 20th of August we had our Waite family reunion and we went to our Cousin Shari's house for swimming and a BBQ.   We also had Kenton and Breyden's 1st birthday planned that evening.  The BBQ was fun and it was good to see everyone.  It's crazy to see how much every bodies kids have grown.

All of the Waite siblings took pictures together.  All of Grandpa and Grandma Waite's grandchildren and great grandchildren got pictures too!  It was so fun to capture all these moments with my cousins! 

Later that evening was the boys party.  We stayed at the reunion longer than planned so we had to rush to get things ready.  We had a BBQ at the park and it turned out so nice.  The weather was perfect. 

Amanda, Kaylee, and Candace made their cakes for them.  A basketball for Kenton and a  baseball for Breyden.

It was so much fun watching Kenton dig into his cake...

It was funny because at first he just went slow.  He was probably thinking are they serious? Are they really going to just let me get my hands and face all dirty?  Both him and his cousin Breyden were very tired at this point but the cake sure did wake up Kenton...Breyden on the other hand almost fell asleep in his cake. 

After we let the boys dig into the cake we cleaned them all up and the older boys pulled out the water balloons and started a huge water balloon fight.  It was fun and Kenton just played in the water that was in the cooler afterwards. 

Presents were a hit.  The boys had fun opening them but they would always get stuck on something they liked and wouldn't continue opening.

Thanks to everyone who came and made Kenton's birthday the best!  We love all of you!
